How to track your sales

I tell you what… most people don’t track anything in their business.

Do you know why that is? I can tell you…

It’s because they think it’s a) not worth it, and b) it’s too difficult

The reality is that a) nothing is more worth than tracking everything, and b) it’s not difficult.

But with human nature it’s always that people don’t wanna leave their comfort zone.

Here is a simple way to track your sales with very less effort. Tracking your sales is essential for your business to grow.

If you don’t know your numbers, how can you expect to make the right decisions? And even if you make decisions, how can you be able to make rational decisions that are 100% free from any emotion?

You can’t.

So the first thing I would do is get Market Hero.

Market Hero is an Autoresponder Software built in with a tracking system.

With Market Hero tracking has never been easier.

Look, in order to make a good decision that will help your business to thrive and to grow, you must know about the LTV of every lead that joins your email list.

LTV stands for Long Term Value.

If you know that the Long Term Value (LTV) of every lead that joins your list is worth, let’s say $20 over the course of 6 weeks, you can spend technically speaking up to $19.99 to acquire a new lead and you’re still in the green.

You get it?

When you know your LTV, it literally becomes very easy to grow your business to the next level.

Start now.

What I would do if I was starting over

If I had to start all over again, here is how I’d do it:

The first thing I would do is, get a job.

While this might sound completely weird to you because my purpose is to build an online business, but if you I don’t have money to a) pay my bills, and b) invest in my business, I am not able to build any business.

Starting-from-Scratch.jpg
And this might be a job that is in sales (earning a commission for every sale), because by having a sales job I am able to control how much I wanna earn.

Beside that, I would also be able to learn how to sell.

The next thing I would do is to study and applying things like:

– How to build an opt in page
– How to use an Autoresponder
– All about Follow up series and Broadcasts
– Learning how to use Facebook Ads
– Copywriting for my ads and my emails
– How to presell to your audience

The next step I would take is to determine my market, and then figure out what niche I wanna tap into.

Based on that, I would create a customer avatar and then an attractive character.

Then I would start using Facebook Ads to build my email list.

And finally I would use my email list to sell them affiliate offers, and later on I would start creating my own products and services.

That’s pretty much how I would do it, if I had to start all over again.

People who struggle for a very long time, and I’d been no difference before, they know exactly deep in themselves what they have to do, but they are not able to do the things that are required to be done.

And that ultimately leads them on the “Trial and Error” path.

How to Improve Blog Traffic?

A lot of newbies find their way into blogging.

Although I’m not such a big fan of it, I truly believe that you can benefit from it in a lot of ways.

The beauty of having a blog is that it automatically builds your brand. But it’s very important to create good content on a consistent basis for your audience.

In order to improve your blog traffic, you gotta make sure that you know exactly who you are talking to in the content you put out.

Let’s say you’re in the weight loss niche and your content is obviously all about weight loss strategies, tips etc.

Even if you are good in creating content, you might end up not getting enough traction, enough traffic to your blog.

Clickx-Blog-FreeTraffic.png
There are 3 reasons that causes low traffic.

The first reason is that your content is simply not compelling enough for your audience.
An easy way to fix that is by improving your content. Add more images to your content, maybe a video you found on youtube that illustrate the point of your content again (btw, it’s always better to have your own videos on youtube).

People wanna be entertained, no matter if they read an article or they watch a video or a movie. Keep that in mind.

The second reason that causes low traffic is you are not speaking your audience language.

The best way to fix that is by creating a customer avatar with all its needs, pains, frustrations, problems etc.. Start creating content around your customer avatars pains, problems etc.

And the last reason that causes low traffic is, you don’t have an Attractive Character built that draws people to you and your blog.

An Attractive Character is basically a persona your audience wants to be the same like he or she.

Later on I’m going to write a new article about how to create your own Attractive Character.

Hope that all makes sense to you.

Why you should never buy Facebook Likes

Building a fanbase on Facebook is important for you business.

When I think about building Fan Pages, I always remember a quote I wrote a few months back:

“100 True Fans are more worth than 10,000.”

12_Ways_to_Build_Better_Relationships_with_Facebook_Fans.png
What that means is that you should be focusing on getting real fans, people who like you and who like what you teach.

When you end up buying Facebook Likes, you will sooner or later notice that 99% of those people won’t be responsive to you and your messages you put out on your Fanpage.

If you’re lucky, you get real people from India or China, some sort of microworkers. But if you are not lucky, you end up getting bot likes.

The way to build up your fan base is by posting consistently on your Fanpage so that your content gets higher ranked on Facebook. It works similar like google.

Both platforms rank content organically.

The more content you post (Obviously, it should be good content, I’m not saying to spam your way up to 100 true fans), the more Facebook will reward you with higher rankings.

A good strategy I’ve figured is to pick the Top 5 – 10 competitors in your market, and spy on what they post on their Fan Pages every day, then you want to come up with similar content for your Fan Page.

I’m not saying you should copy them, but find similar content and post it every single day.

Also make sure to use hashtags for your postings too.

That’s it.

What are the most profitable niches for beginners in affiliate marketing?

A lot of people completely mess around with this question, not sure why it is.

But what I know is that there are 5 big markets you should pick one out for you.

These 5 markets are:

-Gaming
-Health
-Wealth
-Relationship
-Pets

I hear you saying… “these are very competitive ones… how can I make money by tapping into one of them? I am fairly new.”

finding-profitable-niches-1030x539.png
The truth is, you should always pick a niche with a ton of competition, the more, the better.

And although this might sound completely counterintuitive for you, I promise you, the more competitive, the better for you.

If a market has a lot of competition, that means that people in this market spend a lot of money by following their passion/dreams.

Don’t follow in the trap to dig for very small micro niches, that would be completely wrong.
The only way to monetize a micro niche is by selling them a very high priced offer.

Let’s say you want to tap into the make money online niche, that would mean, you need to choose the “Wealth” market.

Or if you want to tap into the dating niche, that would be the relationship market.

You get it?

Pick one of these markets above, find a niche you wanna tap into and get started.

Don’t look for the perfect market or niche, you’re wasting your time and energy if you’re doing so.

What is the most effective Sales Closing Process for my affiliate marketing business?

Personally, I’ve tried many closing strategies in the past, whether for my own high ticket coaching programs or the ones I’ve promoted a long time ago.

First, let me clarify, there is no right or wrong.

Closing a deal or a client has a lot to do with how deep you can touch a prospect at their deepest pain point. The transition to your offer, which should be the solution to solve that pain fast, and once and for all should be self explanatory.

However, closing an affiliate high ticket sale works the same.

The single most effective closing process for any high ticket sale is and will always be by using your phone, talking to your prospect and closing them on the phone.

maxresdefault.jpg
You can’t close someone through a webinar on a $20,000 program.

It really depends on choosing the right closing process for your affiliate offer, based on its pricing.

If the affiliate offer is priced anywhere between $1000 and $2000, then you should use a webinar where you pitch the high ticket affiliate offer at the end.

If the high ticket offer is above that price range, you’d better get on a call with your prospect and then close them.

As you can see, it all comes down on the pricing of the offer. There is no one particular marketing strategy to close a deal which can be applied to any kind of high ticket offers.

…well… probably there is one, the phone call.

But running webinars for offers priced up to $2000 gives you more freedom, you can set it on autopilot.

What are the Success Factors for Automated List Building?

There are many success factors that come into place if you want to set your list building on autopilot.

The overall success factor I need to address first is your opt in page conversion rate. I don’t know why so many people try to optimize their ads or try to rank higher rather than optimizing their opt in page for higher conversion rates.

Automation Text With Gears On Top
The reason why I would always optimize my opt in page first rather than my ads or any other traffic source I would use is because in most cases getting a higher conversion rate for your opt in page is much easier to achieve than playing around with your ads or any other source you’re using.

So that’s success factor number one.

Success factor number two is that your copy of your ad, of your opt in page etc must speak to your audience.

I see so many people struggling to get higher conversion rates with their landing pages, and they wonder because in their opinion, the targeting is right, the pages look great but for some reason their conversions are very low.

In the majority of cases it’s because they don’t speak directly to their audience.

The best way to overcome that problem is by creating your ideal customer (your avatar), and then create your copy centered around him or her.

Another big big success factor is that your free giveaway must be compelling enough for your visitor to take the next step, which is typically to enter their email address and submit their request to get the giveaway.

If your free giveaway is not compelling enough, your conversion rate will be low as well.

The good news is that you can overcome this problem very quickly by looking at your ideal customer, their pains, their needs, what they are looking for to have solved etc., and then create a giveaway that solves their biggest problem or pain completely free.

These are the biggest success factors in my opinion. Of course there might be some others that can cause a lower conversion rate, but I promise you, if you focus on these 3 ones first, your conversions will increase faster than you think.

How to make money through my own website?

When you start your own business, you must have your own website. Period.

There are still so many business owners and companies that believe they don’t need a website, all their leads and sales come through referrals and the word of mouth.

websites-money-saver
Referrals and the word of mouth is very powerful, no doubt about it.

But the problem is, you cannot rely on just stream to generate new leads to finally make more sales.

Hopefully that’s clear to you.

Maybe these people are thinking they need to have a ton of technical experience or knowledge about developing and programming a website.

The truth is… it’s very very simple.

If you own a local business, get a domain + hosting that can be associated with your business name. If you run an online business, you also want to get a domain + hosting, preferably one with your name, because you are the brand, the business.

Next would be to install WordPress on your hosting account, get Optimizepress (My personal favorite) and then install it too.

Then you want to set up a Blog with Optimizepress.

On this blog you’re going to put out related content to the topic your business is based in.

Content where you inform and educate people about the benefits, how to use it, how not to use it, things to avoid, what to do when XYZ happens, what not to do when XYZ happens etc.

Next you want to get an Autoresponder to collect people’s email addresses to build your email list.

Remember? You want to reach out to them whenever you a) have a new product coming up or b) you run a promotion where they can get a huge discount, or c) if you have fresh content on your blog.

My personal recommendation is to use the list also to get referrals 😉

So once you have an Autoresponder (My favorite is Market Hero), install an opt in form on your blog and create a free giveaway in exchange for their email address.

By building your email list, you will not instantly make money with your blog, but over the course of time you will make more than before.

How to sell your service when you have no idea what your market is

Selling a service without knowing who your target actually is might become a very tough task.

But it can be done, especially in the online world if you’re selling information based products or services.

Let me explain…

no_idea_by_workisnotajob
In one of my prior articles I’ve explained why it is so critical to have a clear understanding why you must know who you actually want to serve.

The best way to become crystal clear on that is by figuring out who is your ideal customer.

Your ideal customer is your avatar you center your entire marketing efforts around.

I admit that 99% of people online, who sell products or services online, have no clear understanding who their ideal customer actually is.

They are building their business and their sales completely on luck.

If you don’t know who your targeted market is, yes you can make sales literally by accident, but you will never be able to scale it up to much higher levels.

Once you become crystal clear on your customer avatar, the next step would be to create an attractive character, a persona your ideal customer can relate to.

Your customer avatar and your attractive character will let your business thrive or not.

You cannot create a service and then simply set up some ads, drive traffic to it and then hope for the best.

Running a business is all about gaining as much control above anything that goes around inside of your business and outside of your business.

Know your customer, know your market, then you’ll be able to call them out, speak to them directly and that my friend, will put you on a complete different level with them.

Because now you’ll be able to speak in their language, they will start liking you, they will start to trust you and sooner or later they will buy from you.

Go the extra mile… it’s worth it.

How To Increase Your Blog Traffic Fast

If you’re a blogger, this article might be helpful for you to grow your audience and the people who visit your blog every day.

There are two ways of increasing your traffic to your blog:
– the paid way
– the free way

Both have their pros and cons.

The paid way for instance will send you immediate traffic to your blog.
The downside is that you need to spend money on getting that traffic.

The free way is free, obviously. The bottom line is that it takes time to generate the traffic you want.

I am not going to explain how to use paid traffic in this post because it’s too comprehensive to explain everything you need to know about targeting and copy.

In order for you to use free traffic sources for you blog, you must understand one thing:

– You must start repurposing your content

What does that mean?

Let’s say you record a video for your blog. For instance, you could convert that video into an article, and a mp3 file. You could then use the article and convert it into a pdf file, the pdf file can be converted into slides. You could even go ahead and pick a few important phrases of your article and put them each on instagram as a post.

Now where to share this content?

Simple. Use all the social media channels you can think of.

The more you find, the better, the more you’ll be noticed from your market.

Use Facebook, Twitter, G+, Stumbleupon, Medium.com, itunes, Soundcloud and many other you can find too.

Get started today.
